There is no greater time than now to add a fuller understanding, appreciation, and advocacy for women’s equality in the legal field. This hour-long presentation will provide a survey history of women’s involvement in the legal profession, an overview of the current laws and model rules in place designed to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion of women in the practice of law, and further, will provide a toolkit of resources to spark conversations on women’s equality both in and out of the office.
This presentation will be valuable to young lawyers starting their careers, seasoned professionals who have been witness to decades of change in this arena, and even those outside of the legal field seeking to educate themselves on this important issue. In an historic year like 2020, there is no greater time to join the continuing fight for women’s success by continuing to learn about this important topic.
